11 Feb Joining up the dots
One of the first people that I connected with on Twitter was a dentist called Richard Charon.
Online we found common ground (including our shared values and appreciation of prog rock) and face to face we subsequently did some work together and became involved in a few minor projects. Richard also introduced me to a hotel that has become a regular venue for private work with clients as well as many of our Club Connect workshops.
And now we are entering the next phase of a professional relationship that began with a few tweets in 2009. I am delighted to let you know that Richard is one of three new associates joining the Rose & Co coaching team. For me this is a serendipitous moment, and for our business purpose, to help dentists lead and develop their businesses to greater success, it provides a width of perspective and a depth of experience that will be valuable to many.
Richard is well known for being an early adopter throughout his 23 successful years as a practice owner. He was one of the first to be voluntarily accredited for BUPA Dental Cover, joined BAAD at the outset and gained full membership in 1999. He also leads his own inhalation sedation training courses, having undertaken over 8000 cases.
Now retired from practice, he shares his passion for developing the dental businesses of others through a combination of decades of experience, his own brand of modest wisdom and practical advice.
Richard and the rest of the team will be on our stand at The Dentistry Show this April. Meet us on stand R62. We have an exciting new range of business development services to introduce you to. Come along and say hello if you are curious, interested, want a chat or even just to rest your legs for five minutes. But most of all, start thinking about your dental business and the dots that you need to start joining up, to make it the best that it can.
